Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (“ZEEL”) is organising an event named ‘Sonar Sansar Award- 2024’ (hereinafter referred to as “Event”) as promotional activity of its channel “Zee Bangla” and any person (herein referred as “Viewers”) who is a resident of India can vote for his/her favourite category (herein referred as “Voting”) through the website https://sonarsansar2024.zee5.com/ (herein referred as “Voting Portal”)

  1. Voting shall be open for a limited period of time, staring from 13th February, 2024, 11.00 am till 22nd February, 2024; 12 A.M.  There will be no age limit to vote.
     
  2. This voting can be done and valid within the territory of India only.
     
  3. Voting option shall be available for 4 (Four) numbers of  different categories with nominees in Priyo Nayok, nominees in Priyo Nayika, nominees in Priyo  Dharabahik and nominees in Priyo Juti. The voters shall choose  their nominations amongst the given options in each category, SMS codes for Zee Bangla Popular Categories are as follows,

The viewers have to cast their votes through such voting portal i.e. https://sonarsansar2024.zee5.com/ to choose the nominees.

  1. The viewers may cast their vote only one time through SMS to 57575 or through online voting on Zee5 platform to choose the nominees.
     
  2. This is made abundantly clear that 1 (one) viewer can vote in multiple categories, however in each category a viewer can vote only once.
     
  3. Viewers understand and agree that he/she has to fill up share his/her name, location and contact details before submitting his/her vote in each categories.
     
  4. The viewer(s) will not make any defamatory statement against ZEEL in any forum/media including but not limited to social media platforms/ press conference / public forum.
     
  5.  For avoidance of doubt, it is clarified that there is no prize (in cash or in kind of any nature whatsoever) for the viewers who will cast their vote for their favourite category.
     
  6. There is no entry fees to cast votes.
     
  7. ZEEL makes no representation or warranty with respect to quality or functionality of the website https://sonarsansar2024.zee5.com/
     
  8. Technology Limitations - ZEEL, all participating sponsors, and any of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, professional advisors, employees and agencies shall not be responsible for:
     

(a) Electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures;

(b) Any disruptions, injuries, losses or damages caused by events beyond the control of ZEEL.

  1. ZEEL reserves the right to terminate, extend and/or change this voting system and/or any part thereof at any time in its absolute discretion. ZEEL also reserves the right to accept or reject any or all any final results at its absolute discretion without assigning any reason whatsoever. Information regarding such cancellation and/or extension and/or discontinuation and/or changes will however be announced as per ZEEL’s discretion.
     
  2. Voting is valid till 22nd February, 2024, 12 AM.
     
  3. This is a promotional activity only and for a limited period of time and it is ZEEL’s discretion to continue or to stop such activity at its own discretion.
     
  4. ZEEL may promote this event through the medium of any TV Channel including but not limited to Zee Bangla, website, print media (newspapers), television (promos, Astons, bugs etc.), digital media/ online and any other manner as shall deem fit by ZEEL, at its sole discretion.
     
  5. ZEEL shall not be responsible if the voting is not received due to any technical error / disruption and/or connection failure and/or electricity failure and/or for any other difficulties of such nature and/or for any other reason whatsoever.
     
  6. If any fraudulent incident happens to the Viewers, while voting in the event and for which the participant faces any loss/ injury/ mental disturbance, ZEEL shall not be held responsible or accountable for any expenses, loss, injury or any other liability which may arise.
     
  7. The viewers shall indemnify and hold ZEEL harmless, its group companies, affiliates and subsidiaries and their respective officers, directors and employees, against any loss that may occur to them due to non-adherence of these terms and conditions by the viewers while they cast their vote for their favourite categories / nominations amongst the given options in each category.
     
  8. Grounds for disqualification for the viewers to participate in the voting exercise for the event:
        1. Viewers who are not eligible to participate in the voting process / exercise
        2. Circumstances which, in ZEEL’s view, renders the viewers unfit to vote therein
        3. Non-confirmation to comply with the rules and regulations as specified herein by ZEEL.
        4. If the viewers have acted in any manner detrimental to the reputation and goodwill of ZEEL, Zee Bangla and the event.
        5. For any other reason as ZEEL may deem fit and proper in its absolute discretion.        
  9. It is clarified that the ZEEL’s decision and prerogative in regard to this voting exercise for this event shall be full and final and cannot be challenged by anybody including the participants/voters/viewers for any reason whatsoever
     
  10. The decision of ZEEL on all matters, queries and/or disputes regarding this voting exercise ”) through such voting portal for such event  and the terms and conditions as recorded herein / governing such  voting exercise shall be full, final and binding on the viewers and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
     
  11. Employees and/or relatives of the employees of Zee Bangla channel, ZEEL and its associate companies, group companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, holding companies including the sponsors of the event and their relatives are not eligible to participate in this voting.
     
  12. Each viewer voting in this voting exercise in this event declares hereby that he/she is a real person in existence and not a computer programme.
     
  13. If ZEEL has to suffer of any adverse consequence in respect of using of any illegal means adopted by the viewer for voting in this event, then the viewer shall be penalised for the same in a manner as ZEEL may deem fit.
     
  14. All disputes arising out of or related to this voting exercise shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Kolkata alone to the exclusion of all other courts and subject to the laws of India only.
     
  15. By participating in the voting exercise for this event, each viewer acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions contained herein.
     
  16. The duration and other rules/regulations of this voting exercise for this event shall be at the discretion of ZEEL only.
